Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Diagnostic Radiographer Band 5 for a 37.5-hour post in West Cumbria. The role provides a 24/7 radiology service including general radiography, CT and theatre work, with rotation through CT and the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC).

Applicants must have a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and HCPC registration; the post is suitable for newly qualified radiographers and those approaching registration.

Qualifications

• Degree in radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Post suitable to newly qualified radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Provide general radiography including theatres, dental, fluoroscopy and CT.
• Justify, authorise and perform radiographic examinations from multiple referral pathways.
• Mentor student radiographers and newly qualified radiographers.
• Undertake Quality Assurance as required.
