Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a suitably qualified Diagnostic Radiographer to join our imaging team, delivering excellent patient care across our busy radiology service. The successful candidate will consolidate and develop radiographic skills within a large, supportive NHS organisation.

You must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, and be HCPC registered.

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers, or equivalent.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 AfC shift pattern including out‑of‑hours, weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through ED and general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres to support a 24/7 service.
• Provide supervision to assistant practitioners, imaging assistants, students and visitors to the imaging department.
• Contribute to safe and effective running of the imaging department and maintain high standards of patient care.
