Job summary

Circle Health Group's Lincoln Private Hospital is looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join the Imaging team. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern, and offers a salary of £24,947 per year.

You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team, under supervision of a Registered Practitioner, and comply with NMC/HCPC standards while pursuing mandatory training and your professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous imaging or Healthcare Assistant experience.
• Customer care experience, including challenging interactions.
• Care Certificate.
• Maths and English GCSE A-C or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare) or equivalent.
• Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of patient-centred care within imaging department.
• Work within multidisciplinary team to deliver care and enhance service user satisfaction.
• Adhere to NMC Codes and HCPC standards and demonstrate imaging assistant competencies.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients.
• Complete mandatory training as required.

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in the Imaging department.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

You work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.

You work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.

You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/ Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.

You work alongside multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients.

You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.

Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.

Care Certificate.

NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.

Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.

Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
