An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Diabetes Nurse to join our small dedicated diabetes team to deliver specialist advice, education, and services at Airedale General Hospital.
The team comprises of Diabetologists/Endocrinologists, Diabetes Nurse Specialists, Podiatrists and Dieticians.
We have been successful in our transformation and integration with the community diabetes nursing specialist team to enhance the service we deliver to our patients.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the knowledge, experience and motivation to care for the patient living with diabetes.
The successful candidate will be able to provide direct expert diabetes nursing care for both inpatients and outpatients.
The successful candidate will also utilise desirable advanced nursing practice skills and knowledge, in particular, nurse prescribing to meet the highly complex diabetes needs of patients who will be accessing the hospital specialist diabetes services.
