Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting an HCPC-registered Podiatrist for a unique Band 6 to Band 7 development post within our Diabetes Podiatry Service. Based across two centres (Pinderfields and Pontefract), you will develop advanced skills and leadership in a MDT setting.

You will follow a structured development pathway toward an advanced specialist role, with mentorship, supervised practice and an accredited Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a podiatrist.
• Ambition to progress towards an advanced specialist role.
• Experience working in diabetes or multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide podiatric interventions across community clinics, GP practices and hospital settings.
• Progress toward autonomous clinics within the Diabetes Centre.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary diabetes team (MDT) to deliver care.
• Develop advanced assessment and management skills for diabetic feet.
• Undertake an accredited Non-Medical Prescribing qualification with supportive Trust mentorship.
