We have an exciting opportunity for an NMC Registered Band 6 Nurse to join our Diabetes Specialist Service based in South Staffordshire.
You will join a team of Specialist Nurses, Consultants, Educators, and Administrative staff. The service aims to provide Specialist Diabetes support and interventions within the Community and across the primary care network through nurse-led clinics and home visits.
Applicants must have extensive skills in Diabetes management and ideally hold an accredited course in Diabetes or demonstrate a keen interest in Diabetes management, education, teaching, and mentorship for healthcare professionals and patients.
You will support and educate patients, community, and practice staff to improve Diabetes care quality. Non-medical prescribing is advantageous but not essential.
You should be able to travel independently across a large geographical area.
