Job summary

Unknown Luxury Interiors Brand in the UK is seeking a Product Development Engineer to own the engineering of new products from concept handover to production. You will prototype, draft specifications for quotation, and manage testing and compliance with IEC/UL standards for global markets.

The role emphasizes design for manufacture, working with suppliers and internal teams, and managing the NPI timeline to meet seasonal launch dates. Travel to overseas factories may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years or more as a product design or development engineer in a DFM environment.
• Experience with design for manufacture and material/process considerations.
• Ability to work to deadlines and communicateCross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, 3D print models, and create engineering drawings for manufacture.
• Liaise with external test labs for certification and test reports.
• Own the NPI timeline from concept to production readiness.
• Collaborate with suppliers, packaging, quality, and tech teams; travel may be required.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, UL and market directives in decision making.
