Job summary

Era4 is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve security controls for its next-generation AI infrastructure and datacentre operations in the UK. You will secure Kubernetes-based and cloud-native environments, protect datacentre networking, and enhance security posture while enabling secure software delivery across CI/CD pipelines and GPU-accelerated compute.

You will work with engineering, platform, and operations teams to integrate security into Era4's

Qualifications

• Experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Security.
• Hands-on with vulnerability management platforms and security assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD security controls and secure software development.
• Strong scripting/automation skills: Python, Bash, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for on prem Kubernetes.
• Review architectures and perform security assessments.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning, secrets detection).
• Partner with development teams to implement secure coding and remediate findings.
• Lead vulnerability identification, remediation, and reporting across infra and apps.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring, alerting, detection capabilities and incident response playbooks.
• Build automation to improve security monitoring and incident response workflows.
