We are hiring a Team Lead for Cloud Engineering and DevOps in EMEA

We are seeking a Team Lead to help guide our Cloud Engineering and DevOps team in EMEA. You should come from a DevOps or Cloud Architect background with team lead experience and a desire to stay hands-on.

As our teams are geo-located, you will need to collaborate effectively with your counterparts in the AU region.

Who you are:

• Strong leadership qualities to work well with other teams and establish a highly engaged and performant team
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and current tooling for managing and orchestrating AWS and Cloud Architecture
• Deep understanding of Cloud services such as CDN, Lambda/Serverless, EC2, ECS, IAM, Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK
• Understanding of observability concepts
• Experience working with product teams and understanding CI/CD processes
• Knowledge of DevOps culture and site reliability principles to improve end-user experience and empower the team

Responsibilities:

• Lead our EMEA team of DevOps Engineers, supporting their growth
• Collaborate with global Team Leads to ensure consistent platform support in AWS, focusing on high availability, scalability, and security
• Remain hands-on, assisting with architectural design and technical tasks as needed

Location:

London, with consideration for Edinburgh (access to the office 1-2 times per week)
