Job summary

Netcompany in Leeds, England seeks a DevOps Platforms Engineer to design, implement, and operate cloud-based solutions for high-profile clients. You will work with Azure/AWS, IaC, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD tools to deliver scalable, secure platforms.

Qualifications

• Identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
• Containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab or similar tools.
• Automation of complex solutions with scripting/programming languages.
• Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor; log aggregation with ELK/EFK stacks.

Job description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be central to designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based solutions for a wide range of high-profile clients. You’ll apply your expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and Kubernetes to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platforms that meet the demands of complex enterprise environments.

The candidate is required to demonstrate an understanding of the following areas:

• Identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.


• Implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.


• Containerisation and orchestration with Kubernetes


• Experienced using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab or similar CI/CD tools to design and implement pipelines


• Ability to automate complex solutions using scripting/programming languages


• Experience designing and implementing robust monitoring solutions and advanced alerting strategies using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor, as well as log aggregation and observability using the ELK or EFK stack for Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Implemented disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systems.


• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures and hybrid cloud solutions


• Understanding of cloud cost‑optimisation strategies
