Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support critical, highly secure infrastructure. The role is based in Cheltenham with 2-3 days on-site and requires Active Enhanced DV clearance.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining resilient infrastructure, automating with Terraform/Ansible, and supporting CI/CD, monitoring and incident resolution. You will collaborate with engineering teams to drive reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• Active Enhanced DV clearance is mandatory.
• SRE/DevOps/Platform or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Terraform and Ansible experience.
• CI/CD and automation experience.
• Monitoring, logging and alerting knowledge.

Devops Engineer | eDV Cleared | £650/day Outside IR35

We’re looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support critical, highly secure infrastructure environments.

Location: Cheltenham 2-3 days a week onsite.

Clearance: Active Enhanced DV (eDV) is mandatory.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining resilient physical and virtual infrastructure
• Automating infrastructure using Ansible / Terraform
• Monitoring performance and resolving technical issues
