Job summary

Accenture is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Advanced Technology Centre in Newcastle. You will help deliver environments and tooling to support development and testing for our client teams, using GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube along with IaC and container orchestration.

You will automate CI/CD pipelines, enable automated testing, and provision serverless integrations across systems. A background in cloud, DevOps tooling, and scripting is essential, with on-site availability expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud offerings (public/private).
• Hands-on CI/CD implementation in tools like GitLab/Jenkins or equivalents.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with agile/lean software delivery methodologies.
• Scripting in at least one language (Python/Node.js/PowerShell/Bash).

Responsibilities

• Work in a DevOps team to deliver environments and tooling for development and testing.
• Set up and configure CI/CD and performance/security testing tools.
• Create automated processes for continuous integration and testing.
• Automate serverless integrations between systems via APIs.
