Job description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud environments to support seamless software development and deployment. You’ll work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices in automation, monitoring, and scaling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
2. Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to streamline cloud-based deployments.
3. Administer cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure scalability, security, and high availability for applications.
4. Implement monitoring and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools to proactively identify and resolve issues in production systems.
5. Work with development teams to optimize application performance, provide support for troubleshooting, and ensure smooth integration and deployment workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and strong proficiency with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
2. Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell.
3. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
4. Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana, and best practices in security for cloud environments.
5. Strong communication skills and experience working with development, operations, and security teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate or similar certifications.
2. Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and using Git or version control systems for managing infrastructure code.
