Job summary

Atarus in London is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform end to end, building deployment pipelines, writing infrastructure as code, and ensuring changes are secure, monitored and recoverable.

This role emphasizes eliminating manual steps, implementing automation, and operating in a security-conscious, change-controlled environment within a London context.

Qualifications

• Proven, commercial experience designing and operating Azure environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Experience in secure, change-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Azure platform end to end, including networking, backup and DR.
• Build deployment pipelines and automate releases to reduce manual work.
• Write infrastructure as code and maintain security, monitoring and recoverability.

We've partnered with an established London business hiring a DevOps Engineer into their infrastructure team.

This hire would own their Azure platform end to end: building the deployment pipelines, writing the infrastructure as code, and keeping everything secure, monitored and recoverable. A big part of the job is taking manual work out of how changes get shipped.

Must have proven, commercial experience with:

• Microsoft Azure, including networking, backup and disaster recovery
• Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
• PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Entra ID, Conditional Access and role-based access
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights
• Working in security-conscious, change-controlled environments, ideally ISO 27001
• Docker, Kubernetes (AKS) and Azure certifications are a bonus.
