Job summary

ANS Group is seeking a DevOps-focused professional to join a close-knit operations team. You will deliver proactive DevOps services across customer environments in Azure and AWS, with an emphasis on automation and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with customer operations teams to improve DevOps, create automation, and manage pipelines, infrastructure, and configurations. This role also involves upskilling teams in modern DevOps practices and maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience delivering automation in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customer operations teams to improve and extend their DevOps.
• Create and develop automation to streamline deployments.
• Configure and manage code repositories and build/release pipelines.
• Manage application infrastructure configurations (cloud and on‑prem).
• Help define ANS DevOps standards across the team and tech stack.
• Track time spent on customer backlogs and deliverables.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for cloud engineering.
• Upskill other teams in DevOps practices and tooling across the business.

You will be working within a close-knit and highly skilled operations team working to deliver a proactive DevOps service to customers. As part of your role, you will work to agreed deadlines, operating multiple customer environments in Azure and AWS with a focus on automation.

Roles And Responsibilities...

• Working closely with our customer's operations teams to improve and develop their DevOps.
• Create and develop automation.
• Configuration and management of code repositories.
• Configuration and management of build and release pipelines.
• Configuration and management of application infrastructure.
• Help define ANS standards for DevOps processes and technologies.
• Keep track of time spent on customer's backlogs.
• Point of technical escalation for cloud engineering.
• The role also involves upskilling of other teams across the business in DevOps technical skills and practices.
