CPS Group (UK) Limited is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our hybrid Hereford team. The role focuses on designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS), deploying Kubernetes with Docker and Helm, and building robust CI/CD pipelines for UK Defence and Government projects.

You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, optimise systems for performance and cost, and mentor junior team members as needed.

Formación

• Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Jenkins, GitLab and Terraform.
• An understanding of secure infrastructure, monitoring and high-availability environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Defence or Government project experience is highly desirable but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, using technologies such as Docker and Helm.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, security and compliance measures.
• Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability and cost.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Support and mentor junior members of the DevOps team where required.
