Qualifications

DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Central Government (BPSS eligible)

Our Central Government client requires a strong DevOps engineer for a 6 month initial contract on a new public programme. You will be responsible for all aspects of deployment and environments management to CI/CD pipelines and will be closely involved with integrations across platform and other product teams.

At This Role Level, You Will

• transform technical requirements into an effective DevOps toolchain to enable product delivery
• Work to the technical standards of the broader engineering function
• ensure that deployment strategies for products are repeatable, scalable and highly available
• have deep technical knowledge, providing support to delivery teams and solving complex problems

It is essential to have experience of the following technologies:

• AWS / Azure
• CI / CD (Ideally GitLab)
• Containerisation (Docker)
• Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
• IaC (Terraform)
• Scripting Languages (Such as Python, Bash, Shell etc)
• Monitoring and Observability (Kibana / Grafana / Prometheus)

You will need to be eligible to go through BPSS and have a proven track record of working in a DevOps capacity in a Government department
