DevOps Engineer (AWS)

AWS DevOps Engineer required by our client, a top travel software company, to help them transform their cloud deployment and infrastructure procedures on an initial 9-month contract. Responsibilities include optimizing DevOps processes, automating workflows, and supporting and maintaining vital infrastructure. Troubleshooting and resolving pipelines will be a main priority to ensure efficient delivery of IT solutions across various business programs. You will also assist in designing and automating CI/CD pipelines while advancing DevOps best practices.

1. Create and oversee reliable CI/CD pipelines for AWS DevOps.
2. Monitor and optimize performance.
3. Improve the platform's infrastructure for a busy tourism industry hub.
4. Collaborate with developers to enhance code deployment procedures.
5. Ensure cloud environments are performance-oriented, scalable, and secure.
6. Streamline processes and monitor system performance for ongoing improvements.
7. Diagnose and resolve AWS cloud infrastructure issues promptly.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer, with practical knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, Terraform, and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency with scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD in a .NET environment is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills.
