Job Description:

Contract: Fixed term 9 months (with possibility to extend)

Working hours: 35 hours per week. Flexible working patterns considered; please specify your preference in your application.

Salary: Circa £58K

Reporting to: DevOps Lead

Office: London Docklands

Our DevOps team provides technical expertise to support the development and operation of our business applications throughout their lifecycle.

As an Applications Support (DevOps) Engineer, you will collaborate with development, quality, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to facilitate software deployment, manage environments, and support cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, and data management.

You will engage with suppliers on a technical level, ensuring support strategies align with organizational goals, and recommend improvements to maintain system robustness and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deploy IT solutions across environments, including Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
  2. Perform troubleshooting activities across systems and technologies.
  3. Scripting, testing, and deploying environment updates and infrastructure changes.
  4. Develop tools for performance and security monitoring, deployment automation, and cloud resource management.
  5. Plan for capacity, stability, and continuous improvement of systems.
Minimum Criteria:
  1. Experience supporting systems in Azure, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and/or Power Platform.
  2. Strong technical background with Microsoft tools in development or operational environments.
  3. Experience working within Agile teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  4. Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
  5. Ability to quickly learn and take responsibility for new IT concepts.
