Job summary

Matchtech seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an Engineering Data Platform team. You will automate delivery pipelines, provision environments, and ensure secure, auditable deployments for AI/ML workloads.

The role involves building and operating pipelines, Docker container workflows, and IaC with Terraform in an Azure cloud setting, with flexible UK-based locations and 1–2 days per month on-site in Preston.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain and support GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerised services to AKS.
• Build and publish Docker images and maintain container workflows in internal registries.
• Define and manage AKS cluster configurations for secure, scalable workloads.
• Write reusable Terraform modules to provision infrastructure following Azure Landing Zone standards.
• Manage secrets with Azure Key Vault and access with Azure AD.
• Support hybrid networking and private connectivity between on-prem and Azure.
