Our client is a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Consultancy, currently seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. They provide innovative digital and cybersecurity solutions to clients in the public and private sectors. The role involves working on large-scale Government and private sector projects.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to contribute to a public sector digital transformation program. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing team focused on automation, cloud infrastructure optimization, and seamless continuous delivery across development and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure with high availability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins with Groovy scripting for automated application build, testing, and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform, Vagrant, and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker to support deployment and environment consistency.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and AlertManager to identify and resolve system issues proactively.
• Promote DevOps best practices in automation, security, and agile delivery to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and IaC frameworks.
• Collaborative, proactive, with strong problem-solving skills.
