Job summary

Wipro is seeking a Programme Manager in London to lead agile engineering efforts within our Lab. You will build scalable Python-based software, automate delivery pipelines, and help shape our ML cloud platform on GCP.

The role involves collaborating with Data Science teams to productionise models and exploring new tools and approaches to drive the bank’s machine intelligence strategy. You will coach engineers, drive architecture decisions, and contribute to strategic directions while benefiting

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of DevOps tooling, including continuous integration tooling pipelines and containerisation.

Responsibilities

• Practice scrum in a small engineering team within our Lab.
• Build scalable software using Python.
• Automate software and infrastructure delivery with Terraform, Python, Jenkins, Harness, and Cloud Build.
• Build and improve an ML cloud platform on GCP.
• Gain exposure to native Google tooling including GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Build, and more.
• Build, test, and deploy customised Workbench Instances.
• Support Data Science teams to productionise their models on GCP.
• Innovate by discovering new tools, methods, and approaches.
• Use your knowledge and experience to help shape our overarching strategy.
• Coach other engineers and steer the design of our software.

What We're Looking For

• Technical knowledge of DevOps tooling, including continuous integration tooling pipelines and containerisation.
• Solid knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform with experience in integrating and deploying Vertex AI components.
• Experience with GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Build and Harness.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Terraform and Python.
• Ability to build strong relationships and solve real-world problems with technology.
