Job summary

Synechron is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Belfast to enhance developer productivity and CI/CD capabilities. The role focuses on building reliable, secure pipelines and tooling, collaborating with development, security and platform teams across Azure, AWS or GCP environments.

Ideal candidates have 3-6 years of experience, strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash), Docker experience, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, Build or Developer Experience roles.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong PowerShell and/or Bash scripting skills.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C#.
• Experience with Docker and software packaging.
• Experience supporting tool or platform migrations.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
• Passion for improving developer experience and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve build and deployment issues.
