Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of scripting or programming languages used in CI/CD and automation (Shell, Python, or similar).

  • Understanding of configuration management, infrastructure as code, and environment automation concepts.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, version control practices, and branching strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for digital applications and cloud-hosted services.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security checks, code scanning, and compliance controls into CI/CD workflows.
  • Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes to improve delivery speed, reliability, and repeatability.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to define and refine pipeline requirements and standards.
  • Configure and manage GitLab CI runners, environments, and integrations with other tools and platforms.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, and security, and drive continuous improvements and optimizations.
  • Support cloud engineering initiatives by enabling automated provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
  • Troubleshoot CI/CD issues, resolve pipeline failures, and provide root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Contribute to the definition and adoption of DevSecOps best practices, guidelines, and documentation across teams.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational security, compliance, and governance requirements in all automation and deployment activities.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security controls across the software delivery lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, compliant releases.

Key Responsibilities
