Job summary

C & O Tractors, Ltd. is seeking an Agricultural Engineer to join our new Depot in the Cullompton/Tiverton area. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining farm equipment to ensure reliable operation and maximise customer satisfaction.

You will carry out servicing, fault-finding, and installations as required, with full training provided. A full driver’s licence is essential, and occasional travel to customer sites is expected to support efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical knowledge of vehicles or machinery preferred.
• Problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing machinery and equipment, either in the workshop or during field visits.
• Fixing faults or installing replacement parts.
• Compliance with manufacturers’ service and warranty procedures.
• Account for all hours worked using timesheet, scanner, or service App as applicable.
• Keep the Management informed of progress.
• Maintain work area and company vehicle in a safe, tidy and professional manner, necessary to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Employees must act in accordance with the company Health & Safety Policy, Risk Assessments and Safe Working Practices.
