Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking a practical, hands-on Engineer to join a well-established agricultural machinery business in Warwickshire. You’ll be based at the depot and visit customer sites, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment to keep machinery running when it matters most.

The role offers manufacturer training, clear working procedures and the support needed to deliver high-quality repairs, with a Monday–Friday pattern and overtime/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Background in agricultural engineering or transferable engineering experience.
• Confident diagnosing hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Practical, proactive and solutions-focused.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Candidates with experience as agricultural engineers, construction engineers, HGV engineers, machinery operators or service leavers with an engineering background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, service, diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of agricultural machinery.
• Work both in the workshop and out in the field at customer sites.
• Use diagnostic skills to fault-find hydraulic, electrical and mechanical issues.
• Follow main dealer procedures to deliver efficient, high-quality repairs.
• Attend manufacturer training courses, both online and off-site.
• Complete detailed and accurate job cards.
• Participate in overtime and out-of-hours call-out cover as required.
