Silvaco is seeking a Device Simulation Software Developer to join our team in Europe, either remotely or onsite in Saint Ives. The role involves developing and maintaining semiconductor device simulation software, designing physical models, and improving simulation methodologies.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing, supporting, testing, and maintaining simulation software.
• Understanding limitations of current software components.
• Enhancing simulation methodologies and physical models.
• Communicating complex ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Working independently to solve problems.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C++ and software design.
• Experience in team-based software development.
• Strong knowledge of solid-state physics.
• Experience in discretizing and solving nonlinear systems.
• Background in semiconductor device simulation.
