Job summary

Amazon Digital UK Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Device Certification team, ensuring Prime Video delivers high-quality streaming on living room devices worldwide. You’ll design tooling, automate workflows, and guide engineers through transitions from support to software roles.

You will partner with product teams to define requirements, scale architectures for reliability and performance, and mentor team members in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Experience designing or architecting systems with reliability and scaling in mind.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the device certification team responsible for Prime Video streaming experience across devices.
• Oversee operational support of devices to ensure updates do not disrupt streaming.
• Design, build and support tooling for certification and monitoring across install base.
• Transition manual certification and support to automated agentic processes using Gen AI for new workflows.
• Support career growth of team members and help transitions from support to software engineering as automation replaces manual steps.
