Job summary

We are recruiting a Developmental Clinical Psychologist for Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The post is a Band 7–8a development role within West CAMHS, based in Penzance/Kerrier, offering coaching to reach Band 8a over 18–24 months and a permanent full-time contract.

The role involves providing specialist assessment and therapy to children and adolescents, with a strong emphasis on family involvement and multidisciplinary collaboration within Community CAMHS settings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a psychologist with children in clinical or community settings.
• Experience with young children with emotional/behavioural difficulties.
• Evidence of supervision training and supervision practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a qualified clinical psychology service to children and adolescents and their families with complex psychological problems.
• Deliver highly specialist assessment and therapy while advising non-psychologist colleagues.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the team’s policies.
