Creating innovative new products for the UK’s favourite brands…

Here you’ll be developing delicious innovative concepts for leading brands. It’s a hands-on role, creating new recipes, taking concepts through pilot plant and factory trials through to launch.

You’ll be joining a supportive and talented NPD team, part of a renowned multi-site branded food business. The R&D facilities are excellent, and this is a business that really invests in innovation.

Day-to-day you’ll be creating recipes in the development kitchen, testing products, calculating nutritional data and costings. You’ll work on a range of projects – on brand new innovative concepts and improvements on quality and nutritional content.

You’ll be involved in sourcing new ingredients, researching the latest food trends and product presentations. You’ll be in the factory running trials, working closely with colleagues in production and planning. It’s a varied role with ownership of your projects from concept to launch.

You’ll be mainly site-based with some travel to other sites on occasion, working Mon-Fri office hours. The package includes a bonus, health scheme and pension plan. The role requires experience in running NPD projects in a food manufacturing environment with a Food Science or related degree.
