Job summary

Office Angels in the Hassocks/Burgess Hill area is seeking a proactive Development Technician to support development, testing and implementation of new products and processes. You will work closely with engineering, production and project teams in a hands-on, problem-solving role.

The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £37,500 with a performance-related bonus, excellent training and development opportunities, a supportive team environment and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general technical systems.
• Relevant engineering, technical, or scientific qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and testing of new products and prototypes.
• Conduct technical trials, evaluations, and fault-finding activities.
• Support the transition of products from development through to production.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and test records.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Development Technician to join a growing and innovative business based in the Hassocks/Burgess Hill area. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys problem-solving, product development, testing, and continuous improvement within a dynamic environment.

Working closely with engineering, production, and project teams, you will play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and implementation of new products and processes.
