Job summary

Lester Aldridge invites applications for an ambitious Development Solicitor to join the Real Estate Development team in Southampton. The role covers residential and commercial development, advising housebuilders, landowners, and developers across the lifecycle of projects.

The successful candidate will work on strategic acquisitions, promotions, and complex development matters, with opportunities to collaborate with healthcare teams and national clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (NQ to 5 PQE)
• Experience in development work during training or post-qualification
• Strong drafting and technical skills
• Excellent organisational and matter management abilities

Responsibilities

• Strategic land acquisitions and disposals
• Site acquisition and development structuring
• Residential development schemes for housebuilders
• Development projects involving care homes, SEN schools, healthcare, hotels
• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
• Building strong client relationships
