Bristol Industrial is seeking a Manufacturing Development Engineer to guide sheet metal design for manufacturability and cost-effective production. You will work with the NPD/design team to improve manufacturability across prototypes and iterations.
You will assess tolerances, access and fastening methods, and provide manufacturing guidance throughout the product development process, supporting pre-production builds and design-for-manufacture initiatives.
If you’re a sheet metal Manufacturing Engineer or Development Engineer then this is a wonderful opportunity to work on British designed, British made, and British sold products. You will work within the Design and Development team, ensuring that designs are fit for technically robust, manufacturable, repeatable and cost-effective. The Manufacturing Development Engineer will provide manufacturing and assembly guidance throughout new product design and prototype iterations and improve design for manufacture initiatives throughout the R&D department.
