Job summary

Worldpay (UK) Limited is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead the Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team. You will own end-to-end software delivery from design to production, coordinating with engineering, product, and SRE to ensure high-quality, compliant releases.

You will communicate with clarity to senior stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and apply SAFe/Agile practices to drive client-focused outcomes in a fast-paced payments environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software delivery and full lifecycle management.

• Proven track record of multi-project delivery under pressure.
• Experience working with senior/executive management.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software development lifecycle, including testing, implementation, and compliance.

Ready to take your career global? Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Senior Development Manager to join our ever-evolving Global Merchant and Partner Experience Engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce.

Key responsibilities

• You will manage full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and compliance processes.
• You will collaborate with Engineering teams and other stakeholders through product design, bug verification and go-live phases.
• You will collaborate with Product managers, Architects, SRE and other stakeholders for ensuring successful delivery.
• You will take full ownership of Software Delivery from design to production deployment for the Products/Projects/Epics assigned to you
• You will work with managers/supervisors to identify and allocate technical resources, e.g., programmers, business analysts to projects within Development. This would include a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and contractors
• You will ensure applications meet appropriate quality standards and adhere to the organisation's application development and delivery process standards.
