Job summary

Charity Recruit is partnering with a cultural charity to appoint a Development Manager for fundraising and philanthropy. This six‑month contract offers hybrid working in Winchester and home, with potential to become permanent as the team is reshaped.

You will develop donor relationships, grow philanthropy, support corporate partnerships, and research prospects. Working alongside an experienced Head of Development, you will help write funding applications and contribute to the fundraising

Qualifications

• Not an entry-level role; requires practical fundraising experience.
• Ability to raise funds, build donor pipelines, and research prospects.
• Experience with funding applications and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with donors and supporters.
• Growing philanthropy and giving programmes.
• Developing a corporate partnerships pipeline.
• Researching prospects and building fundraising pipelines.
• Developing and writing funding applications.
• Supporting donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns.
• Working across the organisation to identify new fundraising opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate fundraising data and supporting income reporting.
