Job summary

Abbatt Property Recruitment is assisting a confidential property management business in North London to recruit a Development Manager for an established residential development in Tottenham.

This is a hands-on, on-site role leading a small maintenance and concierge team, driving improvements, managing compliance, budgets and stakeholder relationships, with genuine ownership of the development.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | NORTH LONDON, TOTTENHAM

Looking for a Development Manager role where you can genuinely make your mark?

We're working on a confidential Development Manager opportunity with a highly respected property management business, overseeing an established residential development in North London.

This isn't an Estates Director role or a huge portfolio.

It’s a hands-on building/estate management position where you’ll lead a small on-site team, take ownership of the development and get stuck into the issues that need solving.

THE ROLE

• Full responsibility for a residential development
• Lead a small on-site maintenance & concierge team
• Oversee compliance, PPM, risk & contractor management

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

• RMC experience
• Understanding of compliance, PPM & risk
• Confident managing complex building issues

You don't need to be a finance/service charge expert as the PM will take ownership of this and offer training/support.

More importantly, they want someone who is:

Proactive. Practical. Accountable.

Someone with good common sense who doesn't sit on problems, can get the right people around the table and has the confidence to actually get things done.

There are some longstanding issues on the development, so this is a great opportunity for someone who likes solving problems rather than simply managing them.
