Job summary

Ryedale Festival is seeking a proactive Development Officer to build fundraising for its programmes, research opportunities, and develop donor and corporate relationships. The role focuses on trusts and foundations, building a pipeline, and producing high-quality applications and reports.

It reports to the Artistic Director and works with the Development Committee. Initially a 12-month fixed-term appointment with potential for growth, the post requires spotting opportunities, persuasive writing,

Qualifications

• Essential experience in fundraising, development or preparing grant applications.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to persuade funding bodies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue grant opportunities from trusts, foundations and other funders.
• Support corporate fundraising and sponsorship development and turn committee insights into funding activity.
