Job summary

Octopus Capital Ltd is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee day-to-day management and administration of a loan portfolio across the lending book. You will monitor performance, maintain accurate portfolio records and support exits, amendments and issue resolution.

You will work closely with lending, execution, legal, credit and servicing teams, take ownership of your portfolio and contribute to wider team initiatives and governance. Hybrid working with office and home days is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate lending and development finance.
• Experience managing borrower relationships and loan performance.
• Ability to interpret valuation, surveying, legal and financial information.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day portfolio of development finance facilities.
• Monitor facility performance and borrower reporting.
• Escalate material risks to management and committees.
• Develop relationships with borrowers, sponsors and advisers.
• Prepare credit papers and recommendations for Committees.
• Support restructurings, amendments and waivers.
• Contribute to portfolio management processes and reporting.
