Job summary

RES in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior / Part Qualified Accountant to support monthly reporting for development subsidiaries, including transactional processing for several SPVs and preparing annual statements. You will work under the Head of Finance UK&I – Development and Construction to deliver accurate financial information.

You will gain exposure to ERP implementation projects, streamline processes, and contribute to robust reporting timelines within a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with financial systems (IFS is a plus).
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review spend to date on development projects and recharge to SPVs.
• Own ledgers for development subsidiaries and reconcile intercompany loans.
• Prepare management accounts to support due diligence for sales of subsidiaries.
• Own statutory financial statements and assist audits where needed.
• Support eliminations of intercompany transactions for monthly consolidations.
• Assist with ad hoc information requests.
