Job summary

Direct Corporate Risks, part of Benefact Group, is seeking a Development Executive to join the RHA/Wasteinsure team in Bolton. The role focuses on delivering the New Business strategy across Haulage/Transport/Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction and High-Risk liability sectors.

You will work to build strong client relationships, provide market-leading risk management solutions, and generate leads through LinkedIn, cold calling and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the UK commercial insurance market.
• Proven success in the sectors mentioned (haulage, waste, construction, high-risk liability).
• Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver New Business strategy in target sectors using your network and background.
• Build and maintain relationships, find new introducers to clients in the sector.
• Provide market-leading risk management services using our tech-enabled claims system.
• Identify and generate leads via LinkedIn, cold calling and partnerships; expect internal leads as well.
• Maintain up-to-date Sales activity/forecasting in Salesforce.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Development Executive to deliver successful New Business strategy within the Haulage/Transport/ Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction and High-Risk liability sectors.

As a Development Executive, you will work with our existing partners to deliver an exceptional experience to our target client base, with a focus on expertise, exceptional client service and the provision of market leading products.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering successful New Business strategy within Haulage/Transport/Logistics, Waste & Recycling, Construction or High-Risk Liability sectors, using your own contacts, and previous background
• Building and maintaining relationships, finding new potential introducers to clients in the sector
• Providing market leading risk management services, particularly with regards to motor fleet risks using our tech-enabled claims system which provides automatic insights and data to guide strategy
• Identifying and generating own leads via LinkedIn, cold calling, introducers, partnerships. The business shall also provide leads to you to supplement your own activities
• Responsible for keeping all Sales activity/ forecasting up to date on company CRM (SalesForce)

What you'll need to have

• Expert knowledge of the UK Commercial Insurance Market
• Proven success and demonstrable expertise within the above mentioned sectors
• Highly self-motivated & enthusiastic
• Ability to manage your own time and prioritise work to meet deadlines and without supervision
