Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London are seeking a Development Engineer to join a regional housing developer in the North West. You will coordinate technical information between external consultants and internal teams to secure approvals and enable on-site starts.

You will manage surveys, liaise with highway and utility authorities, and contribute to engineering appraisals and foundation/utility coordination. A competitive package includes car allowance, pension and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating technical information between external consultants and internal departments.
• Knowledge of building legislation and highway design requirements.
• Experience working for a housing developer on complex sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer surveys and related geotechnical work.
• Liaise with engineers, consultants and local authorities to secure approvals.
• Support land appraisals and utility diversions as part of project start-up.
• Assist in pre-contract and progress meetings to drive on-site initiation.
