Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions in Rugeley is looking for a Development Engineer to enhance their Development Capability team. This role is perfect for an engineer eager to expand their engineering knowledge across pre-production and validation environments.

The successful candidate will work on systems development, testing electrical and electronic systems, and document their work appropriately. This position also offers flexitime to balance around business needs, alongside competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertake systems development testing and engineering related tasks.
• Design and develop system test suits.
• Conduct development and qualification testing.
• Document the work and activities undertaken appropriately.
• Participate in internal and external meetings as required.

Skills

Live testing of low voltage electronic equipment

Understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act

Design of digital and analogue electronic circuits

Knowledge of software methodologies

Good decision-making skills

PC literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Flexible attitude and hands on approach

Good organisational skills

Education

HNC/HND/BTEC in electrical engineering or equivalent

A Level Grades A-C or equivalent

GCSE Grades A-C/9-4 Maths & English or equivalent
