Job summary

University College School seeks a Database Manager (Development) to grow the contactable community and improve data quality across alumni, donors and supporters. You will manage complex imports, audience segmentation and KPI reporting while ensuring data integrity and training users across the team.

Based in a school environment, the role focuses on internal operations with strong collaboration with the Development Office, Finance Team and Data Office.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a database, ideally Raiser's Edge or ToucanTech.
• Proven ability to create and implement data systems and procedures.
• Ability to manage, manipulate and analyse large datasets, run complex queries and reports, deliver multi-layered segmentations and data imports/exports, and produce performance reports and analysis.
• Proven ability to deliver effective data processes.
• A good understanding of the principles of data and database management.
• A good working knowledge of data protection and PECR legislation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience of data analysis.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• A high level of numeracy and a strong aptitude for figures.
• Understanding of multi-level fundraising.
