Job summary

Strata Consulting, in partnership with a leading UK residential developer, is recruiting a Development Coordinator for their Derby office. This role supports the development team across the full lifecycle of projects, from feasibility to handover, coordinating consultants and ensuring programmes run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in development, construction, housing or property roles, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a development, construction, housing, or property-related role.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Understanding of the residential development or regeneration process.
• Confidence dealing with multiple stakeholders and consultants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in development coordination, planning, technical, or project support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the development management team across multiple residential schemes.
• Coordinate external consultants including planners, architects, and engineers.
• Assist with planning submissions, reports, and development appraisals.
• Monitor programmes, key deadlines, and risk registers.
• Prepare development documentation, approvals, and internal reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and driven professional to join a well‑established developer delivering high‑quality residential‑led schemes in collaboration with local authorities and registered providers.

Role

As Development Coordinator, you will support the development team across the full lifecycle of projects, from early feasibility and planning through to pre‑construction and project handover. You will play a key role in coordinating consultants, managing information, and ensuring developments progress efficiently and compliantly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development management team across multiple residential schemes
• Coordinating external consultants including planners, architects, and engineers
• Assisting with planning submissions, reports, and development appraisals
• Monitoring programmes, key deadlines, and risk registers

About You
