Bushey Amateur Swimming Club based in Hertfordshire has a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic Development Coach to join our small but successful and sociable swimming club, as we’re about to celebrate our centenary year.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the 'development squads,' helping swimmers transition from learn-to-swim programs to club-level competition. You’ll inspire and support them as they set and achieve personal goals, while preparing for local and regional competitions. Working closely with the Club’s Competitive Coach, you’ll also play a key role in selecting swimmers for external competitions. Additionally, you’ll oversee Club Championships, time trials and open meets, when necessary. when needed.
This is a part-time position and it might suit someone keen to gain leadership experience or someone who wants to take a step back from a more intense position.
