Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Development Chemist for a site-based role in Cheshire. You will prioritise technical service requests, support NPD projects, and ensure safe, accurate laboratory testing while coordinating trials at production and customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a lab-based or technical role, with a degree in Chemistry or Polymer/Material Science and strong data analysis abilities.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in laboratory testing, R&D, QC, or technical services.
• Confident prioritising multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Prioritise and coordinate technical service requests from customers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Support short-term NPD projects and customer requirements with strong quality standards.
• Ensure laboratory testing is completed safely, accurately, and to agreed standards.
• Coordinate trials on production and customer sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time, site based Join a leading company renowned for its innovation and commitment to sustainability. We are seeking a Development Chemist to join our client's Technical Services team. This role is crucial for prioritising workload and ensuring that their technical service activities are responsive, efficient, and consistently delivered to a high standard.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prioritise and coordinate technical service requests from customers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Support short-term NPD projects and customer requirements, maintaining strong quality and approval standards.
• Ensure laboratory testing is completed safely, accurately, and in line with agreed standards.
• Coordinate trials on production and customer sites as required.
• Work closely with the Senior Technical Services Manager, technical teams, and wider stakeholders to align priorities and resources.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all health, safety, training, and compliance requirements are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid experience in laboratory testing, R&D, QC, or technical services.
• Confident prioritising multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Clear communicator, able to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
• Degree or relevant qualification in Chemistry or Polymer / Material Science.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar lab-based or technical role.
• Knowledge of statistics, data analysis, or design of experiments.
• Project management experience or qualification is advantageous.
