Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting a Development Chemist to join a chemicals manufacturing company near Sheffield on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is based at the company site near Sheffield within the Technical Department to maintain and develop products.

You will liaise with the sales team and customers to understand requirements, test trial and production samples for quality control, and assist in producing Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or similar.
• Minimum 2 years experience in formulation or emulsion chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Technical Department to maintain and develop their products.
• The role will involve liaising with our sales team and customers to understand their requirements.
• Testing of trial samples and production samples for quality control purposes.
• The role will also involve helping to produce Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets.
