Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting a Development Chemist for a chemicals manufacturing company near Sheffield on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role sits in the Technical Department, developing products, testing trial and production samples for quality control, and producing Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets. You will liaise with the sales team and customers to understand their requirements. Degree in Chemistry and at least 2 years in formulation or emulsion chemistry are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• 2 years minimum experience in formulation or emulsion chemistry

Responsibilities

• Testing of trial samples and production samples for quality control purposes
• Help to produce Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Liaise with sales team and customers to understand their requirements
