Job summary

FluoRok Limited in Oxford is seeking a Development Chemist to join a growing, venture-backed team advancing safe, scalable fluorination chemistry. Based at ARC Oxford, you will contribute across R&D and pilot-scale facilities to bring disruptive processes toward industrial scale.

Applicants should hold a chemistry degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with hands-on organic or inorganic synthesis expertise and a right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Chemistry degree required; 2+ years R&D experience.
• Experience with organic or inorganic synthesis.
• Right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop industrially relevant, next-generation fluorinated syntheses across scales.
• Tackle R&D and process development challenges and design new fluorination routes.
• Plan and execute experiments in inorganic and/or organic synthesis.
• Own technical projects from concept through to delivery.
