Job summary

FluoRok Limited, a spin-out from the University of Oxford, seeks a hands-on chemist/engineer to own the day-to-day scale-up of battery electrolyte materials and drive technology transfer to engineering. You will manage 5–50 L reactor-scale operations and work with wet synthesis in an air/moisture sensitive environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry/Materials Chemistry or Chemical/Process Engineering with 3+ years in relevant settings, and eligibility to work in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry/Materials Chemistry/Chemical/Process Engineering with 3+ years experience.
• Experience scaling wet synthesis to 5–50 L reactors.
• Hands-on experience with air/moisture sensitive reactions and glovebox/Schlenk techniques.
• Experience handling hazardous materials and chemistries.
• Eligible to work in the UK and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Scale-up of battery electrolyte materials to pilot or production scale.
• Transfer technology to engineering teams and support process development.
• Contribute to development of new products and processes.
